Nice opaque colour. Malty, toffee-like sweetness with a slight hoppy bitterness at the finish. Very good red offering from this mass-marketer.

Decent bitterness but not over the top due to a strong malt character. Something in the finish I cannot quite figure out. Overall very good.

Pours with little head, moderate retention. Some vague hops on the nose, nothing too exciting. Medium body, not very bitter. Very nice malt profile, with a little toastiness. I think I taste teriyaki for some reason. It's great if you think of it as a red and not an ipa.
