A great beer for what it is. Dark brown in color while you can smell the high ALC in the aroma. I think this is the beers largest detractor. The flavor is toffee with a slight hint of coffee overtones. It is sweet with a clean dry finish.

A great beer for what it is. With the ALC being 11% it can't be helped that you can smell the ALC in the aroma. I think that this takes a bit away from what is otherwise a great beer. A very clean dry finish.

Nose is tangy and mildly sweet. I get banana, fig, milder fruit notes. No spice or hop presence and very dry finish. Ranges from clover honey to a deep straw color depending on the light. Sessionable.

This is a big malty brew with a heady fruit nose. It is dry with nice fig and toffee flavor. The only drawback is the pronounced alcohol on the palate, which dulls the overall niceness of the brew.

Terrific quad. A nice surprise that reminded me of my favorite Rochefort. Not quite that level but darn close.
