Average imperial stout, not bad but a little different aftertaste than many. Bottle, August 2012.

28JUL12, Flying Saucer, TN Bottle Ugh. Typical stout. Bitter with some chocolate hints. Overall, a meh flavor. 30JUL12, Flying Saucer, Nashville, TN Bottle Now it reminds me slightly of the Old Rasputin with the tinge. Still too bitter and weird on the flavor.

Nice dark, thick, rich beer....Right up my alley! Great to chill out with on a cold night.

Very thick. Very, very thick. It has a lot of roast malt character, and the oatmeal is present in the mouth almost immediately. Not bad, but save it for a cold day. Goes great with beef. You'll need a fork and knife for this beer.

Smells of chocolate, malt, roasted oatmeal, and booze. Color dark caramel. Taste dark chocolate, light hop, and roasted caramels
