Has all the characteristics of a Belgium beer but slightly subtler with a mildly hoppy / bitter aftertaste.

This is my 1st Saison, and I have to say it is very tasty. Smooth as a Pilsner but all the flavor of a good ale. The spice is very gentle and not over welming. GOOD BEER.

10/21/15 - 12 oz bottle into a pint glass. Pours a hazy golden yellow, with a thick long lasting puffy white head and heavy carbonation. Aroma is malt, wheat, yeast, spices and banana. Medium body and good lacing. Taste is spicy, earthy with cloves, some citrus and a dry finish. Not too bitter, hop taste is barely detectable. I really liked this one but by the time I was down to the last few swigs I was over it. I think maybe it was too heavy on the spices and cloves. I'd still have it again but I don't think I could handle more than 12 oz at a time.

Cloves and spices come through with a strange bitter flavor finish that lingers.
