A beer to have with caution. If you love pure hops and IPAs, this is a treat. Not for everyone, but should always be tried.

My tongue just got bitch slapped by hops - delicious bitter faint hint of menthol - eating cheese and killer guitar music in the background adds to affect

Horrible.. All we have here is hops and water... Typical Stone IPA, the nasty hop bitterness lingers in your mouth all nite long.. Probably the worst IPA and beer I've ever had..it's completely mind blowing that this is a top 100 beer on brew gene

Good beer a little bit of an after taste.

(4.75) not the perfect IPA, but solid throughout. Does not lose it 'a hoppiness if it sits. Great drink.

One of the best IPAs out there. It's bold, extremely bitter, and grabs you by the balls as it goes down your throat. Every really bitter IPA wishes it could be ruination.

The brew has a beautiful hazy orange appearance with a subtle fruity aroma. At first taste there is a flavorful, citrusy sweetness that begins to fade until the taste buds explode with a strong, bold bitterness that lasts well after the sip is complete. A great brew for those who have the endurance to withstand a full-flavored, ultra bitter IPA.

Really smooth ipa. Tons or flavor. Intense.

I consider myself a hophead, just not an extreme hophead. Stone IPA draws a beautiful line for me that ruination boldly crosses. Other double IPAs I prefer crank up the flavor without doubling the bitterness. Hand me one though and I will happily drink it.

Chilled Pine Sol.. Absolute CRAP!! Bear Grills drank his own urine once and preferred it over this IPA.
