This is a bit harsh for an IPA, tastes a bit too much like alcohol and has a slight burn to it. Takes away from the flavor. Officially called Stone 'Enjoy by 10/31/15' IPA, so not sure if this is the straight up Stone IPA. Had this 10/24/15.

There are much better IPAs out there. I much prefer the "Enjoy By" series.

IBU is 77. 22 oz bomber poured into a Pilsner glass. Golden yellow, slight copper in color. Excellent head retention, long lasting white fluffy head. Superb spider-web lacing. Medium carbonation and light/medium mouthfeel. Aroma is piney hops, floral, citrus and slight malt sweetness. Taste is citrus, resiny hops and a slight malty back bone and a dry finish. Bitterness is high but still a pretty balanced beer. I would have it again.
