MonicaAJC - March 31, 2018Since I?m in London I?m trying to find and taste English ales?which aren?t my fave. This one has a pretty amber/red color. Low carbonation. Light malt and strong pine hop. All pros. But it has a ?thin? mouthfeel /body, which brings my score down considerably. Glad I tried it but nothing to write home about. I?m hoping this is not the best they can do with English ales. Will try others?hoping for better.
Cellar Dweller - November 18, 2015Not bad. Dark amber with a thin tan head. Smells a little skunky. Tastes of nuts and roasted malt with an ashy tobacco finish.
