My bottle is a 12oz. Nice malty, darker than expected, not too bitter, tasty Dopplebock.

Malty, dark, mod sweet, slight bitter, caramel. Not bad, very drinkable.

Absolutely fantastic beer. For one with high ABV it doesn't have the "sweet" Hint to it, or at least it isn't highly pronounced. Just great taste

Nice dark pour with a light head. At first it had a good coffee taste, then a quick change to a woodsy. It lingers on the tongue for a bit, but isn't to bad. Not an everyday drink, not my taste.

most of it doesn't hang out on the tongue but it does let its presence be known to the surface of the mouth with an astringentness. overall not as heavy as it looks. v nice v drinkable.

An exceptional German Doppelbock, with full body flavor. As a fan of Doppelbocks and other finer darker beers, this brew is on the smoother side of the family. Slight bitterness and easy to drink. I do enjoy the high ABV 7.6%! Cheers, from sunny Southern California, USA! 8/24/13

Great big, heavy beer. Think I'd like it in the winter. Too much for a summer evening.
