Smooth, light Marzen. Semi-Malty/Hoppy tones that reflect Texas summers. Good.

9/5/15 - Orange Street Fair - Draft into a plastic cup. Amber in color malty backbone, good Marzen. Update 11/28/16 - 12 oz bottle into a pint glass. Pours a deep copper color. No head retention at all. Aroma is caramel, toasty grain. Taste is same. Smooth mouthfeel, medium body.

First time I had this was actually in the Spaten tent at Oktoberfest 2007 in Munich. Just a fantastic Marzen beer. Even from the bottle in the states.

Decent mid amber Oktoberfest. A bit of an after taste but for my taste I enjoy a bit of that. Over all an easy drinking beer. I would drink again

Good Marzen. Smooth. Not much sweetness with a good finish.

Respectable marzen.. Far from my favorite but still respectable .. Smooth and fairly lighter than most marzens.. Tiny bite to finish.. I just wish it had a bit more flavor and spice.. Extremely drinkable, session brew, probably 3.5 stars.. However almost disappointed considering the spaten doppelbock is one of my favorite beers, expected more.
