There's an unfriendly grassy note in the middle that doesn't sit well with me. Just a quick hop bite just before the finish. Better Imperial IPAs gets the malts right, but this one doesn't. The 10% ABV is honestly overkill when the lack of flavor complexity is taken into consideration.

Had on tap what was billed as "brewed for Kysela". Not sure there is a distinction from "regular". Fruity hint of plum and raisin, floral nose, sweetness in finish.

Aroma of alcohol and candied malt. Sweet, dense caramel malt hits the palate; tangerine, cola, and honey on the finish. This is one of my favorite beers.

This was recommended to me as one I would like. Just an okay Imperial IPA. Oddly balanced and has a strong caramel and nut aftertaste. Reminds me of DuClaw Euphoria. Not a favorite.
