bugs318 - August 16, 2013nose is roasted/toasty with some chocolate and a tiny bit of caramel. Taste is sweet up front with some coffee with a fairly toasty and almost piney dry finish with a touch of astringency. Medium body, a bit creamy-chewy. Fairly carbonated yet delectable anyway, though might be good casked
Borderking - August 10, 2013The problem with this brew is in the name...It's just not robust as advertised. Nice roasty coffee ground flavor up front, but then it's just weak, like watered-down coffee. I wish there were more meat here. Another case of "coffee-cola."
bees82 - June 28, 2013Exquisite aroma and lots of fun, unexpected fizz! Typical porter tastes were apparent, but were overshadowed by too much astringency.
