twa1807 - January 16, 2012I bought a pint at Tyler's Tap House in Raleigh for $4.50. This is a great brown ale that has a nice sweet after taste. I enjoyed it so much I had 2!

sambot - July 2, 2011Smutty's OBD is my goto beer for all occasions. While it's not the most extraordinary, it's definitely a crowd-pleaser. Can't think of anyone who's tried Old Brown Dog and disliked it. Flavor? It's a brown ale. But it's crisper, sharper, and sweeter than some of the others out there. Its got a round and satisfying finish. Appropriate for all occasions. Refreshing in the summer when ice cold. Warming in the winter served just cooler than room temp.
