bockboy@att.net - January 24, 2018B-. Ok but too much black malt and it seems to have thinned out. The Jack and Ken?s Barleywine, had no black malt and was not thinned in 2020. Jack and Ken?s more of an A to A-.

Pours black. Malty aroma, no hops. Warm taste, comforting, with mild bitterness. Almost has some fig flavors and smoke flavors. Kinda odd. Not great, would drink again if someone bought it for me. Would not buy with my own money, though I'd be tempted.
