Like shoo-fly pie itself, you'll either love or hate this beer, a heavy molasses flavor and thickness, but not quite as sweet as you might expect. A must try for anyone with Pennsylvania Dutch heritage, and a should try for the rest of the world. anyways.

The more I drink the more I like it. The toasty malt flavor marries well to the Lancaster molasses. I expected more vanilla flavor, but I'm not upset to find it's lacking.

Very tasty porter...dark brown, smells and tastes of molasses and vanilla...6.2% abv and highly drinkable

Had it on nitro. Really good, but no carbonation, even on nitro. Still tasted thick, though. Nice, sweet.

At LBC, full bodied porter, ok taste, not packing a lot of punch
