Strong and malty with a nice round flavour. Stiff quaffable

Light taste for a strong ale, nice flavour, went down quickly!

Smooth strong flavours with hint of toast and honey. The taste lingers with deep fruit flavours. A good warming winter drink

Japanese import (bottled conditioned) from a 500 ml glass. Reddish tan hue with a rather weak head retention. The taste is crisp and not tremendously full bodied. Nose and smell are subdued with malt and not a lot of hopping. Easily drinkable with a bit of an alcohol aftertaste as it warms up.

Good ale but not great. Strong malt taste with a hint of caramel, brown sugar, an fruit.
