Rebel Rocketman - February 9, 2014Rich, complicated flavor, dominated by malt and deep chocolate. Cherry sourness is subtle but distinct. Finishes very dry with soft cocoa notes. Excellent dessert ale.
eaconklin@hotmail.com - July 3, 2013Dark and rich with complex flavor! A little too sweet though. Aroma of chocolate along with a hint of chocolate flavor. The cherry addition is subtle. Overall very good, especially as a desert ale.
roc_rktec - June 20, 2013Aromas of milk chocolate, dark fruits and caramel. Sweet malty caramel and chocolate with almost porter like smokiness finish with a dry cherry and cocoa.
bassfury - May 23, 2013Was good choco porter although i thought it was more stout-like. Slight chocolate taste, slight cherry taste hidden by chocolate.
cheftimjones@hotmail.com - December 25, 2012Good porter, nice bitter cocoa notes but not rich like some chocolate stouts. I could not taste cherries and suggested in the description, but it was 40 deg so maybe too cold. I prefer Ommegang's Art of Darkness for an American Belgian style dark ale, give it a try too.
