Draft, half-pint
Pours a pure black with dark caramel brown around the edges. Light tan lacing. Aroma is straight Russian Imperial Stout with barely a hint of vanilla. Sweet malty aroma. Flavor is huge molasses up front and vanilla intertwined with the molasses. Not overdone. Not underdone. Expertly balanced. And not overly boozy. Noticeable, but not overwhelming. Almost thick mouthfeel, and creamy. Finish is rather dry and the vanilla pairs to mellow out the bitter finish.
