Pretty orange amber pour into pint glass with two finger off-white head that leaves behind great lacing.
Nose is piney, hoppy, malty and floral.
Tastes include toffee, malt, pine and floral hop essence with sharp clean bitter finish.
Medium body with good carbonation. Well balanced with malt and hops working in unison. Enjoyable IPA that I found easily drinkable and tasty.

Not a traditional IPA. Color is a red, bock with a nice foamy off white head. Aroma is hoppy. First taste is sour with a light bitter grapefruit bite. All in all a nice hops, malty blend. 3.5 of 5 stars.

The aroma does not hit me as a pleasant IPA scent. The lack of hoppiness kills it right from the start, and the overabundance of maltiness kills the deal for me. It's drinkable, but just barely. That's not what I look for in an IPA. I want to look forward to each time I raise the glass.

Not all IPAs have to assassinate your taste buds with intense hops flavor. This is a good beer and one that I can enjoy just as much as a Longhammer or Belgo.
