This is pretty good and very different and cool. Almost a coffee note with chocolate... Awesome winter drink for sure

I pulled this Chocolate Bock out of a cooler at a New Years Eve party. I'd already been drinking heavy IPAs and the disappointment was palpable. I think that may have clouded my judgement of this beer.
It certainly smells chocolatey and the color is completely black and opaque. The mouthfeel is very creamy and the taste is like molasses and burnt sugar with the chocolate. The aftertaste is robust and lingers a while.
On second thought, and with a more sober palate, this isn't a disappointment, but it is quite heavy and I'd probably only want one as a dessert beer after a big meal.

Light chocolate taste and cocoa powder with slight bitter after taste. Heavy tasting, decent
