Mapwhap - March 17, 2017I've never really been a fan of red ales, due to the high malt profile. This is my first red IPA, and I think the hops definitely improve the style. This one was not overly hopped...just enough to give it some flavor. Not a bad brew...just not one I'd go crazy to try again.
sreitsma@charter.net - March 28, 2016A full-bodied, hoppy red IPA. Floral, piney hops with a bitter, yet smooth finish. Another great brew from a great brewery.
photometric - February 5, 2016After drinking Odell's IPA as my go to evening beer, this one much milder on the finish. Not as bitter and a little lower abv (6.5%). Somewhat earthier and more subtle. I think I prefer their regular IPA but this would be good for people who like a less bitter beer & certainly better for food pairings.
