Maple brown color with a modest head that dissipates quickly. Aromas are very modest/tight. I mean that I'm literally getting nothing off the nose. Big, malty flavors with some sweetness. Rum is certainly evident in the finish. All in all a pretty interesting beer that seems to be more science project than world class brew. Certainly not in the same league as Pump[KY]n.
2014 bottling states 16.73% ABV.

Tastes like rum and maple syrup combined

Very strong, burns the back of your throat a little. Very sweet and heavy like molasses

Both this from my local beer shop for $14 and got to sample it at a local bar for $6 a 4oz. pour.
Smells like a sour but the flavor it better then that of the PumpKYn. I really enjoyed the Rum flavoring as it brought something different to a beer I've never had before. 5 stars.

Got better as it warmed up. Definitely don't want more than one. Can really taste the rum.

The pumpkin and rum blend so well, it's an incredible brew, but definitely needs some aging

This is an extremely sweet brew, but very delicious.
