HSAlegend02 - January 1, 2015Barrel aged sour ale with Brett yeast...according to the label, "85% ale aged in Cabernet Sauvignon barrels, 9% ale aged in Chardonnay barrels, 6% ale aged in Zinfandel barrels"...sour up front with a slight smokiness that balances it out nicely
aaf145 - January 1, 2015A different brew.. Really sour, much like a Berlinner Weisse however the barrel aging and Brett yeast gives it a touch of smokiness and funk.... 3.5 stars... Nice brew, not a session beer however...
dkrenik - June 4, 2014Deep brown color and head that dissipates quickly. Nose seems tight/closed. Light bodied with plenty of carbonation. The tartness is both surprisingly round and mouthwatering. Gods stuff.
