Interesting. Color is a dark brown with an off white head. Aroma is an overwhelming whiskey butteriness with a hint of hops. Taste has a definite bourbon with a malty creaminess and a warming sensation. Good winter beer. 2.5 of 5 stars.

A brown ale with good character and a great finish. The hint of bourbon makes it a great beer to enjoy by itself. Also a great pairing with a nice piece of red meat like prime rib.
