Nice but bitter aftertaste

Had from a can. Slightly metallic and malty for an ipa.

Pours deep gold with white head, two inches, no lacing. Nose is strong pine with citrus. Mouth is subtle bursts of pine thru the bitterness. Slight hints of grapefruit. Long lasting bitter aftertaste. Fulfills and exceeds the bitterness criterion for an IPA but leaves something to be desired in notes of citrus, or lack thereof. Overall its piney on the palate with a bitter finish.

Didn't like it. If you like IPAs, then you will probably like this.
