While this one was tasty enough, I think the term "imperial" is a bit of a stretch. This is nowhere near hoppy enough to be considered imperial in my book. However, since I like to enjoy an IPA with sushi, I found this one to be very good with a meal. It did not overwhelm my food, so I appreciated that aspect of it.

Not very hoppy. Especially for a DIPA. Interesting spices?

Not too hoppy or overly full of flavor, just right for a beer with a meal

Very nice DIPA... Creamy start, malty, subtle hops for the category... Pretty light too packed for a beer with a monster abv.. 3.5 stars.. Upper echelon of the DIPA category..

Medium body, medium hops. Slightly bitter aftertaste. Straightforward IPA that doesn't really taste as strong as it is. Bottle 12/2015

A little hoppy for me but flavorful. Home. Dec 2015

Decent, but it has an odd sweetness that is unexpected in an IPA- and not as hoppy as you'd expect either.
