Smooth, not bitter but full flavor brown, good spices, not too strong

Liked the brown sugar addition, it was a little pricey compared to other pumpkins ale equal in price

A brown ale that isn't very brown. A pumpkin ale without much pumpkin. A simple ale that isn't very simple. A Dogfish Head beer that isn't outrageously over the top (which isn't very Dogfish Head). Decent, drinkable ale with the slight tastes of roasted pumpkin, allspice and nutmeg. It doesn't have that fake pumpkin pie flavoring that most pumpkin beers have. profile - October 17, 2015
No flavor of pumpkin. Just a beer

A little bitter. Not much spice.

Brown ale flavor is good, but it doesn't leave enough room for the pumpkin flavor to come through. Very little spice. It's a beer for people who like to celebrate fall, but don't like pumpkin beer.

As far as pumpkin beer goes this is all I'll drink. Light haze, strong nutty notes of clove and nutmeg. Slight pumpkin notes with much more spice. profile - October 7, 2015
Not a huge fan of pumpkin beer but damn this one is good. Smooth and tasty profile - October 4, 2015
One of my favorite pumpkin beers.
