A little in the bitter size, and fizzy/bug head when opened, but all around good

From a bottle. To put it bluntly, not real good. Pretty weak for a Porter and what pronounced taste there is is pretty weird and unnatural. Once is enough unless I could taste it on draft.

Watery start, metal finish

Very mild for a porter

Watery and smoky...not enough sweet or chocolate notes. Wouldn't be bad for summer porter drinking

Similar to the smuttynose robust porter. Can't really tell difference. Good butt not my thing. Hoppy, dark, etc

Great porter usually don't like porter

An American Porter, lacking the full potential of a Porter brew. Not as as flavorful as other Porters, but the coffee notes makes up for it. 3/9/14

Pretty basic. I had to search for the coffee or chocolate..... Rarely found either. It's not a bad beer but not exactly my style.

Solid porter.
