An exceptional American Pilsner, with a full body taste. Not as crisp as other European Pilsner brews. This Yankee version has silky buttery flavor, with little sweet bitterness. Cheers from sunny Southern California USA! 1/6/14

Pretty standard pilsner. Don't have the IPA first

Bitter not easily drank.

Pretty good, really too sweet to be a German pils--not crisp enough, doesn't have that great noble hops bite, definitely wouldn't try to drink this all night (might have one or two).

When I opened this one up, it smelled awful like cheap, American, mass-produced beer. The smell was deceiving, and the taste was a nice, sweet, malty delight. The most surprising element was the strong grainy aftertaste, which was oddly pleasant.

Pretty smooth drink but not a lot of high or low. Pretty basic

I'm not that familiar with pilsners, but this is very drinkable, has nice subtle spice notes, and just tastes a little better than the esb and copper to me

A sweet note that doesn't blend well with its bitter side. Not terrible but not among the good pilsners.

Had in Maine June 2012. Not a big fan, preferred the copper from red hook.

Decent pilsner, not great.
