Gear balance of malt. Low hop profile. Very characteristic of a Scotish ale

Just love it. Wish it was sold on this side of the Mississippi. When I go to WA to see my relatives, I give my clothes to charity to make room for a few bombers in my luggage for the flight back home.

Pours a dark copper with a thin white head. A sweet alcoholic aroma that is reminiscent of a barlywine. Sweet caramel malts being the dominate flavor in this beer. Followed by a nice hop bitterness and a slight alcohol warming. It's medium bodied with a mellow carbonation and a texture that slightly sticks to middle of your tongue.
