Jackets60 - April 6, 2013Pours like a coffee stout. Half finger of khaki coffee like head. Getting the coffee on the nose similar to the 3 Bean. Not smelling the bourbon. Getting a lot of coffee on the taste. Very smooth. Milk chocolate like as well. Getting a little bourbon on the finish. Solid offering!
cheftimjones@hotmail.com - November 14, 2012Complex flavor, slight bourbon flavor comes through. More alcohol aftertaste than I like but not bad. Toffee bitterness and light mouthfeel. I like that it was not sweet.
lfors414 - October 31, 2012A little to strong for me, just made an awesome BBQ sauce with it, though, and am enjoying what I didn't use in the sauce--much better than a couple months ago. Maybe it just needs aging.
