Delicious. You almost have to chew this amazing specimen. The vanilla and caramel come through nicely despite the richness.

This is an incredible and complex ale. Oaky, raisin and prune fruit, caramel, molasses. Sweet with a hoppy, spicy, roasted grain finish. Really very good!

Unique. Mellow wood notes make this an interesting brew. Not bad but I just couldn't drink one every night

Tastes like a very old chunk of wet moldy wood. Not my thing at all.

Seriously good dark brown ale. Drinking out of the bottle instead of poured. I think I prefer it that way!

Alcohol toffee nose. Rich malty dark chocolate flavor with a vanilla finish. Subtle alcohol burn in the throat. Great beer for a cold night. profile - July 30, 2011
Absolutely incredible beer. Completely blew my expectations away. Sweet with a banana-like aroma. A new favorite.
