Maybe this beer didn't get a fair chance because I got it from Sportsters at Geneva on the Lake, but I was unimpressed. Tasted flat and more like a plain old, run of the mill ale more so than an IPA. I noticed very little hoppiness and definitely tasted none of the citrus or pine or any other flavor complexity that can jazz up an IPA. On the bright side, I got a second for free because the first foamed pretty badly when the bartender opened it.

North Country brewing Co.
Paleo IPA 6.2 abv. It pours a nice copper color and the initial aroma is hoppy with grapefruit overtones. The flavor is very piney with grapefruit & hops. It finishes bitter with very minimal maltiness. There just seems to be something missing but I can't place my finger on it. It's good, it's drinkable but it falls short of greatness.

Finally went to NCB, very disappointed with this ipa. As I was with all 5 of my samples. Reminded me of the college brew we would make in a 5 gal bucket years ago. They said they're going to go into full production.... Good luck. Tastes like a glass of bread soaked in a PBR.

Very good hoppy IPA with bity aftertaste. Reminiscent of East End Brewry's Harvestfest
