This very nice, very balanced nothing is in your face. I pick up the mild mandarin orange but not peppercorn. Not outstanding though.

Could taste the citrus but my palate could not pick up the peppery taste. Very smooth

Would have thought it was an IPA just looking at it. I thought it had a surprising flavor for a tripel, but I was not disappointed. Very refreshing and light, but will put you on your butt in a hurry. A little weak when it hits, but finishes well. No major complaints.

Personal Note: Good tasting Tripel, however, it was milder than what I like in my Tripels.
First Tasted: My Grand Mother-in-Laws 99th birthday.

This beer turned out to be a lot stronger than I anticipated. I kept wanting to taste the orange peel it promised but all I got was a peppery, smokey flavor that was reminiscent of chocolate. Honestly, I've had a lot better from Sierra Nevada. I prefer their pales ales and ipa's. This beer was drinkable but I'm not a huge fan. Cool label though.

Wow. Quite complex. Nice feel on the tongue with a peppery after taste. Rich aroma with an orange- pepper that fills the nose. The body was lighter than expected and the color a nice amber.

Initial taste is the lemon but it balances with the orange. Very nice, light. Interesting and unexpected first sip, enjoyable thereafter though.
