Has a pungent smell more like a European pilsner or lager, taste more of the same but more aggressively hopped, obviously with a slightly floral note on the end that might indicate a bit of American hops in there. Not really what I'm looking for in an American pale ale/IPA--definitely has a bitterness in that range and body of one but the aroma and taste dont quite match. Not really my thing. Color kind of cloudy, light honey.
I might check their web site and see if they say what's in it...possible I got a funky bottle. Or, as a session beer maybe it lacks the malt to have a body to match up with the bitter and hop favors they added?
