Not bad but kindof a flat taste overall. Can easily get through but might hesitate to get again.

Wow. Just had some of this from Widmer that is whiskey barrel aged. Kicked it up to 9.2. Good sipper for the winter reminding me of some Kentucky Bourbon.

Usually Widmer's Rotator IPA series is a safe bet ,but this one fell flat. It is hoppy enough or ryey enough to warrant it's name. At least it's 7.3%

Very nice rye IPA, aroma, slippery mouthfeel, spicy rye n hops. Very good. Bottle, April 2013.

Amber brown, light head. Light smell, piney. Brown ale taste (syrupy) then a hoppy after taste.

Enjoyable. The aroma is that of a hoppy IPA, and it hits with grapefruit and pine up front. Bite quickly gives way to a nice complex malty, sweet, rye flavor that finishes dry. The rye flavor hangs out in the aftertaste, but the bitterness of the hops does not. High drinkability, good, but maybe not so good it's worth going out of your way to get. Bottle.

Very nice. Initial flavor is super robust and very nice. Citrus and pine just bursts. Rye on the back end. Nice. Might be best Widmer Bros I have had.
