Smells amazing, taste didn't match up

Good taste but falls well short of an authentic Abby. I'm still with the Belgians on this one. Priced right for an everyday drink.

Great beer. Dark and toasty.

A bit too sweet and alcohol taste for me. I found the flavour changes between the drink and after taste.

Very nutty with a strong taste of hops. Very good beer, not my usual taste.

This is another great ommegang beer. Great with dinner. Very flavorful though. Be prepared!

C+ not for me

Huge malty sweetness full of banana, clove and raisin in nose. Sweet, fruity flavor with medium mouthfeel and moderately high carb. Alcohol in the aftertaste a little too strong for my liking. Otherwise a winner.

Sweet aroma, hint of spice in aroma, smooth malt up front, kick of spice on back of tounge, strong alcohol note, clove

sort of a murky brown with a foamy head. The Dubbel has a smooth flavor for the Belgian Strong Ales and was actually pretty good.
