Smells sweet and hoppy. The barley comes thru on the tongue immediately. Great great beer. Sweet and bitter simultaneously.

Nice ruby color and good head that fades quickly. Sweet hoppy nose. Sweet pallet although, In my humble opinion, way too hoppy for a barley wine. Feel a little duped into buying a mislabeled IPA.

Sweet nose. Great red color. Then the hops say hello. They balance well with the sweetness. Tasty, sweet, hoppy. Good sh:*t!

A nicely balanced barley wine. Rich malt, even some fruity apple or pear notes, but not too sweet, and a good amount of hops at the end.

Well balanced barley wine

Hoppier than I prefer for a barleywine, but it really balances well here with the malt backbone. Tasty, hoppy, and sweet...a nice blend of flavors.

Hoppy finish. Alcohol note on the nose. Not crazy about barley wine though

Strong B-wine, hop-forward. Alcohol taste is significant. Not as much sweetness as other barley wines. Carmel color. Very nice with homemade cheesecake.

Ok but not a barley wine fan. Pour is a vary bubbly motor oil brown with a white low lace head. Aroma is a power hoppiness with an strong alcohol burn. Taste is all hops with an alcohol and bitter bite. 2 of 5 stars.
