Best beer ever

Oh come on. This stuff is ridiculous. A drainpour if there ever was one. Seems like this is a trial by fire that beer snobs give themselves when they want to prove they are "real aficianados." Whatever. Too heavy. Too bitter. Too smoky. Medicinal. I could go on...

A great smelling, dark, smooth, cocoa, carmel taste. Imperial stout. ABV 9%.

Very dark brown, almost black pour into snifter with a tan head leaving moderate lace. Smells of roasted malts, coffee, dark chocolate and toffee. Flavors of roasted malt, biscuit, coffee grounds, alcohol and dark fruits. Full bodied with mild carbonation. Amazing beer. Will definitely have another as often as I can.

Outstanding everything I look for in this style

Very, very nice. A soft roasted aroma, hints of sweetness, almost raisins. Slight liquor smell but nothing overpowering. Good viscosity. Little sweet at first, leads into a nice hoppy finish. As it warms, liquor flavor comes out a bit more.

A 5 on tap and maybe a 4 in bottle. Incredibly smooth

This is 1 of my all time favorite beers. I have about 4 favorite beers, all of them stouts, and all of them hard to rank to determine which one I like the most. I tried this beer for the 1st time when I was 20 and now I'm 32 and it is still in my top 4 all time, so it has stood my personal test of time. This stout just gets it right. The body is rich, dark, thick, and perfect. The taste is complex, going above & beyond a traditional stout, with a subtle sweetness and motes of various spices. I purchase this beer for very special occasions. My best friend Michael bought me a 4-pack when we went camping last summer and my first instinct was to hug him and tell him I love him. That is how much I love this beer.

Very good dark and bitter stout. Like you are drinking Rasputin's beard.

Rasputin had one if history's hugest dongs and this beer is no exception. 2 of these and you will be prepared to roger even the bawdiest of bedmates.
