trained moose - April 5, 2015Good but after 7 years I expected a smoother finish. The bourbon taste almost overwhelms though.
Pedestria - April 9, 2014Wonderful full fruity flavor. A bit too sweet. Trappist-style yeasty and malty. A bit like across between strong Belgian and IPA. High alcohol content obvious.

cary.tobey@prconcepts.com - July 20, 2013My first Barleywine. Didn't know what to expect. Certainly has a bitterness that I guess I should have anticipated.
However, it didn't take the Old Crustacean long to talk me into liking it.
It's not an everyday beer (for me) but it will certainly have its place at my house.
DaveyBoySwagg - June 27, 2013I love barleywines and this one isn't bad, but the finish is too light and dry. It doesn't seem to fit into the style (full body, robust malt presence, boozy kick). Sorry Rogue, but I wouldn't recommend this to anyone.
