sam.s - May 16, 2019Nutty, with slight roast flavor. Well made. But served too cold and this was at the brewpub! They should know better.
Ern Dog - August 1, 2018An exceptional nut brown ale, with a malt and sweet dark roast coffee flavor. Purchased at Basha?s in Sedona, AZ. Cheers from SoCal USA 7/31/18
leTwit - September 5, 2016Inconsistent, but always either great or merely real good. First time I had it I thought it the finest Nut Brown - but some subsequent bottles (out of many, many bottles consumed) paled, seemed thinner and somehow less than I expected. Still, a go to Nut Brown

Ordered on tap in Scottsdale. Came with very little head, and no lacing, I would've liked to have seen both. Nice caramel brown color. Scents of butterscotch and caramel malt. Flavor is mild, not bitter a slightly buttery flavor and some bready maltiness at the finish. particularly on the finish. Mouthfeel is light bodied with low carbonation and good with the 105 degrees it is a 10pm.
bar - November 29, 2014Chocolate malt flavor, moderate body, good head, minimal hop character. Good drinking beer.
