Good and rich but a bit too sweet.

Aromas of black walnut and charcoal, combined with delicious flavors of maple, toffee and candied apricot. Who would have thought those flavors blend into a full bodied Ale but they do and it makes for a tasty beer.

Deep brown reddish color with tan head that dissipates to a thin rim of lace. It has nice roasty malt and caramel flavor and similar nose with a bit of cinnamon. Wonderful mouthfeel with light-medium body and good carbonation. Thoroughly enjoyable ale that remains one of my "go-to" brews.

Nice relaxing ale, smooth, creamy and very light. Great for the summer.
