A subtle note of nutmeg compliments the pumpkin flavor, but it's quite similar to that of Sam Adams Harvest Pumpkin Ale which I could buy for a third of the price. My socks are still on

Nice cinnamon-spice-pumpkin pie nose, and these flavors came through, but this brew does not have the expected body for a really good pumpkin ale.
