A very enjoyable, tasty ale. I can see why this helped to kick start the craft brew revolution. Great stuff!

Buttery wafer on the front end with a bitter finish. Nice nod to a significant beer that helped start a movement, but nothing special.

Smell: citrus tint; there is some floral accents I think.
Taste: strong, bitter flavor. Intense bite up front and holds body well

Slightly hazy golden body & white head producing moderate lacing. Biscuity sweet nose & front end. Finishes crisp & bitter w/ high hop profile. More nostalgic than great.

It is a nice change from all the different hop combinations that are used today.

I'm sure it was great for its time. Now...it's goodish. It reminds me of Michelob.

Great sweet, biscuity aroma that smells like a cookie. Light, malt taste with slightly bitter finish.
