This is a very good full bodied Irish Red. It almost finishes like a mild stout. Was blindsided by this one after drinking Killian's for many years.....pleasantly so in fact.

An exceptional Irish Red Ale, brewed in Ireland.. But a product of the Netherlands? According to the bottle it's owned by Heineken. Anyways, I love this beer! Better than Killian's Red. Full solid flavor of a red ale, and the perfect balance of bitterness and the light malty texture in the palate.. The ideal combo goodness on a hot day like today! Cheers from sunny Southern California, USA! 7/14/13

Lightly hoped , the front note is malt but also light. Not complex ,this beer is certainly drinkable though and it's subtle hop and slight sweetness is refreshing.

A pretty good example of Irish ale but, admittedly, I'm not too big in the category as a whole. Somewhat sweet and malty. Little to no hops.
