Wonderful hybrid beer. The ancient ales never cease to be interesting. Wonderful wine like essences.

Very interesting beer. Beautiful gold color with a definite taste of honey and grapes. A little sweet for me but the ancients could have done much worse.

Nice sweetness all over from the honey, with refreshing fruity overtones that are characteristic of muscat grapes. Deliciously complex beer without being overpowering.

Nice to try a beer based on a 2700 year old recipe. That being said it is a sweet, fruit tasting beer that had no aftertaste and hides alcohol level extremely well. Similar to taste purple haze.Light & refreshing but packs a serious punch! Cheers

Interesting taste on an old fashioned beer. Muscat grapes gives this an old world feel and the clean and crisp taste make this a pleasant drink. Best with cheeses, lamb or duck. Enjoyable drink bordering on the beer ledge.

Husband chose it for me. Not what I usually go for, so considering that I enjoyed it. Probably wouldn't enjoy it past 2, but 1 was a nice change.

Sweet but not overpowering. Definitely taste the grapes. Not going to drink it all day but it's good.

Sounds delicious and is but just not fully my taste. The grapes come through strong with a hint of saffron.
