Wow! Great beer. Black as night with an everlasting tan head. Subdued malty aroma. Big dose of sweet malt at first, then slight chocolate, toast and coffee that are quickly overtaken by a lovely, warming alcohol burn. Viscous and velvety. Pricey but well worth it. Stouts are my absolute favorite style and this is definitely one of the best.

The best Stout I've had to date. Wonderfully complex! Not for the faint of heart.

Massive sugar taste. Very strong alcohol. Semi heavy beer

The most complex tasting stout I've had to date. At $10 a bottle it's expensive but worth the try. They are limited batch run. Supposedly they age well with time.

Very boozy. Hot going down.

Dec 2013 release, batch 9. States 15.4% ABV. Creamy, tan, head that lingers. Thick, opaque, black. Malty, coffee aromas with a bit of heat. Huge, malty up front with some hoppy bitterness and alcoholic heat in the finish. Big and bold with appropriate carbonation. Wow, intense! Definitely a special occasion brew (like days that end with "y").

Holy crap! This is not a beer for the meek. Great flavor and mouthfeel but, you definitely don't operate any heavy machinery after one of these! A slow sipping, great tasting cure for insomnia ;-) had it on tsp if it matters.

Like candy. One of the best imperial stouts I've had.

Way too roasty and dark for me. Like motor oil. Flavors work together but just not my style. Mar 2013. At Nellies.
