Sweeter after taste. Smooth. Effervescent. Spicy.

French Canadian red ale, with a good strong solid taste. Complex sweet caramel, molasses and licorice flavor. Good malty textures in the palate. Cheers from sunny Southern California USA! 9/21/13

Balanced blend of caramel, apple, raisin, allspice, cinnamon. Sweet finish. Nice Belgian strong ale!

Belgian amber from Unibroue in Quebec; notes of banana, citrus, clove... malty... had one at Taproom 307.

I don't think I like this beer. Can definitely tell its good quality beer. Don De Dieu is better but my favorite of these beers hands down is La Fin Du Monde made by same company...

Tastes like a wheat heffeweissen with a little banana taste, really not strong, little head, full and deep red, a little carbonated for me but not bad

Plenty of banana notes.

Another hit from Unibroue. These guys don't know how to make a bad beer. A very good take on a Belgian dark ale. Spicy, complex, and not the overwhelming taste of dark fruits that many of the darker Belgian ales have. A very solid entry.
