Kinda of a flat tasting IPA (Barleys)

Sweet strong aftertaste. Nicely done in sure but not what I like

28APR13, Ashlee's 22oz, pint Barely hazy golden color with two finger off-white head. Big, piney, grassy aromas. Flavor is a little sweeter with some citrusy and grassy notes, maybe some fruit. Too complex to be certain. Then some moderate bitterness creeps in to eventually leave a mostly dry finish. Mouthfeel is thicker than normal for an IPA, and the malt is bready. Sweet and bitter, is a really good balance.

Too sweet. Hop taste overpowered by alcohol. Not sure Alpine approves

Aromatic, some flower with both citrusy and pine scents. Hops is front and center. Medium syrupy mouthfeel with good spiciness. Good amount of bitterness that lingers. Would definitely drink again. Very very Good Shit!!

This is one of the greatest IPAs I have ever had. I've heard great things about Alpine Brewing so when I saw this collaboration on the shelf I had to try it. Alpine is unavailable in my area so this was my first opportunity. Unbelievable!!! Beautiful sunset orange with a thick fluffy head. Great lacing left on the glass. The nose on this thing is amazing .... Super citrus and hops. I couldn't stop sniffing this glass until it was empty. The taste is just as good as the nose. Citrusy, almost creamy or buttery with a great hop presence. Incredibly balanced which is the highest compliment I can give it. Unfortunately, I hear that this is a one time only beer so if you can still find it BUY IT!!! I rated this right up there with Pliny The Elder, Blind Pig, Sculpin and the 10th Anniversary Ruination iPA I just tried.

If you like American Double IPAs, you will love this beer. Great hoppy bite without being boozey. A nice layer of sweetness in there to keep it interesting and nice, but the resiny hops are right up front putting a smile on your face. Smooth. Very very good beer.

06OCT12, 12 South Taproom, Nashville, TN Draft Extremely aromatic with both citrusy and pine scents (pine is more prevalent). Hops is front and center. Light-to-medium mouthfeel. There's a moderate amount of bitterness that has some linger. Would definitely drink again. Very very good.
