Very dark with a fair amount of foam head that lasts. Smooth and does have a milky texture. Luckily didn't have too much (or possibly any?) of a coffee taste to me.

Fairly complex coffee / licorice / chocolate notes. Overall a bit light on total flavor, but good warm balance. Decent beer.
