Way back I was employed with a startup tech company working with plastics and resins and this was a somewhat toxic and smelly way to make a living and the odour of phenolic brings rushing back great memories of drunken evenings and staff parties. Whew! This beer reminds me those days. Phenolic makes my mind hazy and soft. Not bad, one pint wonder then move on. I don't like the chalice it's served in. Sorry, but it makes you look like an upper class twit. .

First tasted in Allentown, PA. Bottle poured into beer mug. Terrific aroma and smooth taste. Spiced after taste.

Clean. Sweet initial taste. No aftertaste. Very good. Tastes like a darker Leffe blond.
